Ludgvan Parish Council is committed to the Cornwall Council initiative to make Cornwall Carbon Neutral by 2030. Everyone can assist in this by adopting one or more of the following personal goals:
- Reduce car use – walk/cycle more and/or use public transport
- Improve energy efficiency at home – insulation, double glazing, turn thermostat down a degree or two, switch off lights in unoccupied rooms, turn equipment off standby
- Consider changing eating habits – eat less meat
- Consider changing shopping habits – less packaging, shop local, shop seasonal
- Recycle more
- Air dry clothes instead of tumble dry
- Clothing – use more natural fabrics & less synthetics, upcycle
- Upcycle furniture
