What do parish councillors do?

Parish councillors invest time in local projects and issues to the benefit of residents and the neighbourhood. Councillors listen to local needs, make decisions on local services and help progress local projects for the community.

National surveys have found that parish councillors spend about three hours per week on council work, including attending council meetings.More information about Ludgvan Parish Council – see the parish council’s website: www.ludgvan.org  Prospective candidates for the parish council are encouraged to attend a council meeting – held on the second Wednesday of each month at the Murley Hall, Ludgvan.  On 12 March there will be the Annual Meeting of Electors at 6.30pm, followed immediately afterwards by the March meeting of the Parish Council.   https://www.ludgvan.org/council-and-planning-committee-meetings-2025/
